This is a moment in time that I wish that we could all be in the same room. Each year that I have taught this, I have built a cube like this and used chalk to colour the outer faces. This makes it much easier to determine how many of the faces are painted. However, you guys might have something at home that could be used or you might just enjoy the challenge of using your imagination to solve the problem.
