5th Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
Our eighth week together has come to an end, which means we’re nearly halfway through the first
semester of Grade 5. We have a poster in our room representing the forty weeks of the school year
and we are crossing out the weeks to practice working with fractions which come up in a future Maths
topic. At this point in time, eight of our forty weeks together have drawn to a close (that is one fifth)
and by the end of Week 10, a quarter of Grade 5 will be over.
With this in mind, and as the end of October draws nearer, we will have our Fancy Dress Day on
Thursday, October 31st which is the week after next.
What we learned this week
