5th Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
We’re nearing the end of the first week of October and the first quarter of Grade 5 is drawing to a close faster than you can say, “Are we having fun yet?” Please be aware that our upcoming 10/10 long weekend provides us with a short week next week.
What we learned this week
Maths: Topic 3 – Multiplying Whole Numbers/ Topic 4 - Dividing by one-digit divisors.
Literacy: Styles of Narrative/Character Development – Journaling(Dear Mr. Henshaw)/Personal Narratives/The Sentence (Unit Test)
Science: Ch. 1 – Properties of Matter
Social Studies: Ch. 3 The Civil War and Reconstruction
What we will learn next week
